My First Road Trip... Off to the Grandparents!

Mommy and I were so tired after the drive from Florida to Decatur. We couldn't even make it to our beds, we just fell asleep on the couch. It was a long trip, but I think we did pretty good since it was our first trip by ourselves!

I am still tired, I think this was after a good meal though. My grandmommy fed me so well while I was in Decatur.

These are some of my grandmommy's friends. My mom has known them her whole life.. that's a long time! They were really sweet to me and I got to hear some fun stories while they were there.

This is Magoo. He is my grandmommy and papaw's (yes he has changed his name) puppy. He liked me a lot, but was not used to being the center of attention. I got a little jealous but I'm sure he misses me now that I am not there.

This is Jewel. She lives across the street from my mommy's nanny's house. I never got to meet my Nanny but I have heard she is one of the most incredible people in the world. Grandaddy was amazing too. I wish I could have met them. Sometimes I smile when I am dreaming and that is because my Nanny, Grandaddy, Aunt See'er and Aunt Clara are talking to me :-) Jewel was one of Nanny's closest friends and they were neighbors for a very long time.

This is my Great Unlce Pete. He did a good job holding me even though he was a little nervous. He lives in Nanny's house and has a big dog named JED. He is a funny dog that is just a little too hyper for me to play with right now, but I am sure once I am bigger we will have lots of fun together.

This is Marsha, one of mommy's bestest friends. She and mommy have been friends since they were born. She has a son too, his name is Dawson. He played with me for a little bit, but was a little camera shy. The little girl checking me out is Stella, she is the daughter of another one of mommy's bestest friends, Brooke.

Here is Brooke, the one I told you about. She is going to have another baby in the fall. I can't wait to meet him or her someday soon!

Papaw got to babysit while mommy and grandmommy went to get their nails done. We had fun playing together while they were gone.

My Grandmommy! Mom calls her the baby whisperer. She makes it all better when I am a little fussy. She just always knows what to do. I love her and papaw so much and can't wait to see them again really really soon!!!!

My First Easter... AND I'm 1 Month Old Today!

Today was Easter and it was also my First Month Birthday. My time flies when you eat and sleep all the time! Mommy and Daddy took me to church today and I did so good. I slept the entire time... nobody even knew I was there! They were so proud of me!

Aunt Sissy came by to see me all dressed up. She can't get enough of me :-)

Mommy tried to wake me up so I could see the Easter Bunny, but I just wanted to snooze.

3 Weeks Old!

I love my swing.. mommy likes it too because she can get stuff done when I am in here. My head is still a little swollen from when I was born, but Dr. Suzie said it is just a matter of time before it is as good as new!

I always smile at my daddy. I think it hurts mommy's feelings sometimes, but I get tired of her... I don't get to see daddy as much so I get really excited when he gets home from work.

I just love looking at daddy!

I am starting to like my baths a little more. Mommy says I smell really good afterwards. I just wish she wouldn't put that cold lotion on me. I hate that!

Fletch will make a good baby sitter someday! (Just kidding Momma Lynn!)

My 2nd day at the beach. I slept the whole time! There were lots of people out there today, something about spring break?? I hope I can go to spring break when I grow up!

This is Fletcher, he is 4 1/2 years old. He was mom and dad's baby for that long and I really don't think he likes me too much. I am starting to grow on him though!

This is my friend William Justiss, he is 4 months old and I have a lot of growing to do to catch up to him. We are going to have lots of fun together (he is a War Eagle fan too!)

Look at this belly! We weighed yesterday and I am already up to 9 lbs and 6 ozs. Let's just say, eating is one of my favorite hobbies. I am 2 weeks and 4 days in these "naked" pics.

We are finally home!

Today is February 25th and we are finally home! I am trying to get my parents used to this new sleeping schedule. Sometimes mommy is crabby but overall they are adjusting just fine! I love the doggies too! They are going to be so much fun to play with later (when I am not so little). Okay, enough talking, mommy wants to share some more pictures. I won't bore you with the details but you can see my first bath and lots of other cool things my parents have gotten for me. Have fun and we'll be back shortly with new posts! As far as developmental milestones, I have been raising my head since day 1 and I continue to get stronger and stronger everyday! I have had some "gassy" smiles, but I really smiled at daddy the other day and may have even laughed a little at mommy yesterday. I coo a little but mainly still sleeping a ton, eating even more and have a few periods throughout the day where I am a little fussy. But overall I am a wonderful baby!
