My doctor told mommy to always put my shades on when I am out in the sun, but up until today I have hated them. I look pretty cool! Eddie is also helping to shade me from the sun. He is such a good doggie. I really like being outside and especially in my bouncy seat because I can listen to my "tunes". You know, all the good ones like.... "Twinkle, twinkle" and "If You're Happy and You Know It". What's tunes do you have in your bouncy seat?
The other pictures on this post are from my friend Jack's 1st birthday party. He had a pool party at one of the condos on Holiday Isle. It was a lot of fun. I swam with daddy and watched Jack eat his cake. Man, he made a mess! I can't wait to have a birthday party. I also went to my neighbor's 4 year old birthday party the same day. His mommy and daddy brought in the local fire truck. It was really cool to watch the lights and listen to the sirens. Bodie's party was a bunch of fun too.... But boy was I tired at the end of the day. I slept so hard!!!

Mother's Day Weekend
This was mommy's first Mother's Day and we had so much fun. We went out to the Point with a bunch of mom and dad's friends and they had a crawfish boil. We stayed out there all afternoon, and of course I slept most of the day. It was really windy and I just got so relaxed that I was out! DON'T WORRY grandma and grandmommy, I promise mom kept putting that gross sunscreen on me all day long. I didn't even get a tan. And the wind was blowing a lot so I didn't get too hot either.

This is my friend Jack. He turns 1 next weekend and we get to go to his birthday party! He likes to eat the sand so that's why his face is so white. He was walking by 9 months, I think I am following closesly in his footsteps. We will have so much fun together... getting into trouble, when I am able to walk.
This is Jack's dad, Paul. His mommy, Brooke had a cast on. She fell down the stairs and broke her foot. I felt sorry for her in the hot sun and on the sand having to walk around in a cast. Daddy said I will probably have several of those in my lifetime since I am a boy... but mommy said we are going to do our best to avoid them :-)
Jack loved trying to tickle my feet. I didn't wake up though.

This is from a few days before. Mommy and Aunt Sissy took me out to the pool for lunch in Watercolor. I thought the hat was hysterical. I laughed when mommy put it on me.
This is mommy and daddy. Allison Ming and Jeff Jones got married Saturday so they went to the wedding and then met some friends on the harbor afterwards while I stayed with a babysitter... Erica. She is a nurse where I was born! We had so much fun playing while they were gone, but of course I was glad when they got home. My Grandma and Grandpa Brown got in town this weekend too! They are here for just about 2 weeks and I am sure we'll get to play a bunch and get lots of pictures! They stay in a nice big condo on the beach. It is going to be fun to go see them and mommy will post some pictures of them soon! Posted by Davis Brown at Monday, May 12, 2008 0 comments
The Paralee Family Reunion
Well, mom swore off road trips until I was able to enjoy DVDs in the car, but this year Uncle Brit was in charge of the family reunion. He worked so hard to put it all together that mom and Aunt Sissy decided to make the trip. I did really well this time. I slept the whole time from Destin to Jones, AL which is right outside Selma. We had a good time and we met lots of people that were very special to my mommy's nanny and great aunts. The food was really good too, but of course all I got was formula :-( Then mommy, Aunt Sissy, grandmommy and I went to Selma to visit some of nanny's cousins. It was nice to meet all of them, but boy I was tired. I only ate one more time that day and then slept for like 7 hours. Mommy kept checking on me to make sure I was alright. Then we all stayed in a hotel. It was my first night in a hotel and it was fun because mommy just let me sleep in the bed with her. I was sad when we had to leave to come back home, but I get to see my grandmommy and pa-paw at the end of this month and I am very excited!
This is the Jones Community Center where the family reunion was held. Mommy remembers coming here when she was like 5 years old. It is really pretty out there, but was very far away.

When we went to Selma, we went to New Live Oak Cemetary where mommy's great aunts and uncles and their family are buried. It is really pretty out there. The mossy oak trees make it look like something you would see in Savannah. It is gorgeous and peaceful.
My grandmommy brought me a toy. We named him Aubie. I had fun looking at him and trying to grab him. He is almost as long as I am!
My grandmommy feeding me at the reunion. I was trying to talk to her here.
This is Jean Prince. She is one of mommy's nanny's cousins... Mommy grew up visiting her and her sisters and has lots of fun memories of them. Juanita and Margaret were not able to make the trip this year, but we went to see them instead.
Uncle Brit had to give a presentation our families background. He got really nervous but did such a great job! We were all so proud of him!
This is Fuzzy. He is another distant relative that is really neat. He is a photographer and has taken many pictures of famous people. He has even photographed John F Kennedy! Pretty cool. His wife's name is Elsie, but mommy didn't have a picture with her.
My grandmommy held me a lot. Not many other people got their turn, but that was fine with me because I miss her..... a lot!!!!
They give an award for the youngest attendee and we thought we had it in the bag until another baby came in that was much smaller than me. Believe it or not, we were born on the same day and I won because she was born early in the morning. I looked like a 6 month old compared to her and I was only 10 weeks old at the reunion!Posted by Davis Brown at Monday, May 12, 2008 0 comments

Did you go poo poo?
We have had fun trying to make some videos this week. Unfortunately when mommy gets the camera out, I watch the camera and forget to act. I have been smiling and laughing and talking so much that I want all my family and friends to see me. I'm sorry you have to hear mommy's voice in the background, she will not hush. But when she says "do you have a poo poo diaper?" I die laughing. It is the funniest thing in the world. So here is a video of my Brad Pitt smile... Superman strength video to come.... :-)

My 1 Month Pictures
Here are my 1 month pictures, that were actually taken at 6 weeks. Mommy kind of lost track of time. We had so much fun changing outfits and taking pictures and mommy was so happy with how pretty they turned out. We just wanted to share a few of our favorites...

Wow, we've been busy
Well, I am officially 2 months old and wow! time is flying by. We have finally gotten into somewhat of a routine, unfortunately for mom it still involves eating throughout the night........ a lot! But she'll either get used to it or I will stop waking her up so much, eventually. I love going to the beach, mom and dad take me on the weekends and put me in my cool tent so I don't get too hot or get sunburned. I am rolling over consistently now, from tummy to back. Mommy and daddy say I am the strongest baby in the world. I can push myself up on my elbows and keep my head up for hours if I want to. I am trying to talk too and I mimic mommy and daddy's silly faces. I love to smile and laugh and it makes them laugh really hard too. I talk all the time... man I just can't wait till the parents can understand me... they are sooooooo slow. Fletch and Eddie are starting to like me better, except when I cry. Fletch rolls his eyes and leaves the room when I start fussing.... What a grump :-) And that is really about all for now. Mom promises to do a better job at posting.
This is my Aunt Vicky (daddy's sister) and Joshua, one of my cousins. He is 5. They came to visit us last month and we had so much fun. We went to the beach and Aunt Vicky kept me while mommy went to the doctor. I really love them and wish they didn't live in Mississippi. Joshua said that I cried and spit up too much, but when I was quiet, he really loved me :-)
